Alianza was looking for additional engineering support that would help their in-house software development team tackle an ambitious product backlog and accelerate the delivery process. Given the cultural fit as well as Software Mind’s telecom and AI expertise, Alianza decided to partner with our experts who, since then, have been developing new features to boost the growth of Alianza’s cloud communications platform.
Client background
Alianza delivers a true cloud-native, carrier-grade communications platform built for service providers. Their proprietary full-stack solution offers wholesale residential and business communications services, including voice, video conferencing, collaboration, text messaging and standalone UC softphones. Alianza’s team of experts are passionate about transforming communications delivery and ensuring first-rate customer experiences for more than 200 service providers worldwide.
Business goals
This project aimed to speed up Alianza’s product development and delivery, while enabling their platform’s dynamic growth. The Software Mind team was tasked with adding new, innovative features to increase the platform’s competitiveness. This included developing the virtual Private Branch Exchange (VPBX) service and modifying an auto attendant service to simplify the process of changing group and queue configurations.
Main challenges
We established proven ways of working to ensure smooth cooperation between Alianza’s US-based team and our experts in Europe. Our software development expertise enabled us to effectively handle the technological complexity of Alianza’s cloud-native telecommunication platform. The project also required close collaboration with business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize functionalities in the product backlog.
