Our client relied on MS Excel, augmented with numerous Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macros, for their financial reporting needs. This approach faced increasing challenges related to process inefficiency and the scalability limitations of the Excel platform. Recognizing the need for modernization, our team was asked to enhance efficiency, overcome platform constraints and develop targeted tools to automate both existing macro-driven workflows and persistent manual processes.

Goals
Analyzing our client's existing reporting workflows and identifying specific inefficiencies, Excel/VBA approach limitations and key manual processes. Designing and developing a modernized solution to replace or augment the most critical and problematic VBA-driven reporting tasks.
