Project overview
Our client contracted Software Mind to develop a fully operational ODC (Offshore Development Center) to provide quality assurance services in less than three months. Our team integrated with their existing team, aligned on processes and proposed improvements. The project involved moving to an automation-first approach by developing the client’s first automation QA framework. Software Mind received the European Software Testing Award (TESTA) in recognition of our project implementation and execution.
Client background
A market leader in providing software for the betting and online gaming industries, supporting the most successful operators, boasting a variety of customers in the online gaming industry, and working with integrated partners around the world.
Main challenges
Our client was struggling with the lack of delivery capacity and poor quality of implementations. Furthermore, it had no independent testing, implementation processes or automated testing framework. Software Mind became their independent quality assurance center for all divisions (customer and product). After the implemented changes, testing is now seen as a mandatory part of their development lifecycle. Software Mind works with client teams in the UK, Greece, Canada, Singapore, and New Zealand. Currently, the project includes 45 Software Mind consultants who handle manual, automation, and performance tests.
