Project overview
Our client selected Software Mind to assess the current architecture and analyze source systems to develop the target solution architecture. Through seven workshops with the departments of finance, controlling, planning, development, operations, sales, transit, and head of products, we created a matrix to outline the existing source systems and information needs, which led to our proposal for a unified data architecture based on MS SQL Server, MS Azure Data Factory, and MS Power BI.
Client background
Operating in over 200 cities and towns, Clear Channel Polska is Poland's leading outdoor advertising firm. The company provides various outdoor advertising solutions, including billboards, street furniture, and digital displays.

Business goals
Our team was tasked with defining a business glossary, creating both logical and physical data models, and preparing an Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) feed framework. We developed a Power BI data model based on the analytical cube, to which we attached existing reports and created new ones. This enabled quick analysis of feed errors and unified the data model, which served as the foundation for calculating key performance indicators (KPIs).
