Project overview
Our client, looking to modernize their outdated legacy Network Management System (NMS), required a stable, unified platform for alarm management to control all events across their network. We facilitated tri-party collaboration to deploy the Umbrella Management System (UMS), an off-the-shelf solution. Our role involved acting as both the system reseller and the essential integration partner. Through this project, we successfully transitioned the client to the state-of-the-art UMS platform, providing comprehensive 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring seamless operation and ongoing maintenance of their new NMS solution.
Client background
A Polish telecommunications company which offers comprehensive mobile and fixed-line services and is known for introducing advanced technologies like LTE and 5G to the Polish market.
Goals
The primary objective of the project was the successful, timely implementation of the core NMS platform. This required a concerted effort to expedite the final project handover by ensuring the vendor immediately resolved defects and proactively managing customer feedback. Essential to success was also tailoring the user interface meticulously and obtaining the necessary technical knowledge for our team to provide long-term, independent 1st and 2nd line support.
