Implementing a web portal on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Our client is a well-established online culinary media publication, founded in 2012. The rapid growth in the number of its users led to the development of a web platform in a public cloud environment with a vast array of functions.

After in-depth consultations with our development team, we proposed a tailor-made solution using technologies available in the AWS cloud that would make it a virtually maintenance-free endeavor. Static files were made available without the server’s assistance through the CloudFront service, with the Fargate operating at its core.

The cooperation resulted in an updated version that runs on the AWS cloud and takes advantage of its services. The final product doesn’t require additional management, patching or updates to the environment. Placing the portal in a cloud environment made it possible to seamlessly add new resources in case of changes in the system architecture or a significant increase in the number of users.
