What does the free assessment include?
The assessment runs for 1-2 weeks at no cost. We analyze your source code, DDL exports, or ETL artifacts and return a complete report covering complexity scoring, dependency mapping, risk ranking, target architecture, a phased migration plan and ROI. No implementation contract is required to receive it.
How much of the work does AI actually handle?
AI handles 70-80% of the execution work across every Software Mind Pulse engagement. This covers code transformation, schema migration, ETL pipeline conversion, test generation and data reconciliation. The remaining 20-30% is managed by our engineers: architectural decisions, high-risk object review, edge integrations and production handover.
Which legacy stacks does Software Mind Shift support?
Software Mind Shift covers six technology families: mainframe and midrange languages, including COBOL, RPG, PL/1, NATURAL and Easytrieve; old Java and J2EE; old .NET and .NET Framework; legacy web frameworks such as Vaadin, GWT and JSF; client/server stacks including PowerBuilder, VB6 and Oracle Forms; and monolithic systems migrating to microservices or SOA.
How does Software Mind Pulse pass security reviews?
Software Mind Pulse is built for regulated environments. You retain full ownership of all code, data and IP. Everything runs inside your own cloud subscription, behind your firewall, with data residency in your chosen Azure region for GDPR, HIPAA and SOX. The architecture uses SOC 2 and ISO 27001 aligned controls, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, Zero Trust networking and RBAC with least-privilege access. Security is ensured through a full audit trail of every AI action and human approval. No client code or data is ever used for LLM training and the Atlas360 assessment requires no production database access, only artifacts.
What is the difference between Software Mind Blueprint and Software Mind Lift?
Software Mind Blueprint is an AI-driven analysis accelerator. It scans DDL, ETL and SQL code and delivers a migration report covering complexity, risk, target architecture and ROI in 48 hours. Software Mind Lift executes the recommendations proposed from the analysis stage. It translates database code, migrates schemas, converts ETL pipelines and validates data reconciliation against your chosen target.
Do we need to share access to our production database?
No. For the Software Mind Blueprint assessment, you share DDL exports, ETL pipeline files and application code containing SQL. Production database access is not required at any stage of the assessment. For the Software Mind Lift implementation, our team works from the artifacts and outputs of the Software Mind Blueprint report, not from live system access.
How long do code and data implementations take?
Implementation timelines depend on scope and complexity. Software Mind Shift engagements typically run from 3-12 months, depending on the scale of the legacy estate. Software Mind Lift migrations follow a wave-based model, with each wave validated before the next begins. The free assessment produces a concrete, phased delivery plan before you sign.
How is Software Mind Pulse different from hyperscaler migration tools?
Hyperscaler migration tools are single-vendor, single-target and cover limited legacy stack ranges. They do not offer UI modernization as a productized capability. Software Mind Pulse covers six legacy families, supports four cloud targets, delivers a free assessment that replaces 3-6 months of consulting discovery and executes through a dedicated AI POD (a specialized AI team).
