Project overview

The project covers two client-facing PropTech portals in the area of US property taxes – one for residential taxes and the other for commercial taxes. Both deliver comparable functionality: giving the client’s banking customers access to data on mortgages, properties and tax liabilities held within their portfolios, along with agency and other relevant tax information. The portals also expose business operations to end users, namely, bank employees. We support both products by refining the UX, extending functionality, adding data visualizations as well as ensuring the portals meet the client’s corporate standards for security, UI compliance and service migrations.

Client background

A property intelligence company that provides analytics and workflow solutions across the real estate ecosystem. By processing real-time data signals throughout the life cycle of properties, the company identifies hidden risks and new opportunities for real estate agents, mortgage lenders, insurance carriers and industry innovators.

Goals

The goal of the project was to improve the user experience across both portals while delivering new functionality for mortgage servicing teams and making complex tax, mortgage and property data readable through purpose-built visualizations. In parallel, the focus was on keeping the systems aligned with the client’s corporate requirements around security, UI compliance and migration to shared platform services – without pausing feature delivery.
