Building a data repository for corporate banking customers on Snowflake using Data Vault modeling standards. Achieving a smooth data to cloud migration that prioritized regulatory and management reporting.
Client background
A universal bank, part of a global group, which has been operating in Poland for over 20 years. Headquartered in Wrocław, it provides retail, corporate and agricultural banking services, along with consumer finance.
Goals
The main goal of this project was to build a data repository for corporate customers in cloud-native solutions. Along with supporting regulatory, managerial and operational reporting capabilities, this data repository aimed to enable effective data management and decision processing support.
