Our client wanted to use Microsoft Azure to streamline and speed up the process of searching through multimedia archives. Software Mind team designed a hybrid mode solution that, using data from local databases, provides an index in the Azure Search service and enables secure execution of queries by other local operating systems.
Client background
Our client, one of the largest radio stations in Poland, collects, preserves and archives programs from all its channels and makes this material available to the general public. Its online platform, which contains thousands of hours of multimedia content, allows listeners to access the latest information from Poland and abroad, including culture, music and science news.
Goals
Our client used boxed solutions based on outdated technologies and lacked an advanced, synchronized multimedia content search system – which significantly hindered growth and the effective operation of the entire media service. The project aimed to change that with faster multimedia research, higher data security and elevated cloud access.
