Project overview
To support our client’s modernization efforts by building a user-friendly platform for compliance monitoring, which would also serve as a central hub for automated reporting, record management and employee communication via email and SMS. Our client wanted a new platform to integrate closely with an existing internal system in order to receive key data and compliance logic. Architecture requirements included an Angular frontend and a C# backend on Azure Functions, optimized for high performance and up to 800 concurrent users.

Our client delivers comprehensive background check solutions and insights that enable employers and housing providers to make confident choices, reduce risk and maintain compliance. With offices in 29 locations and a staff of 6,400+ employees, our client leverages leading technology and the industry’s largest global capabilities to complete background checks in 200+ countries and territories.
Goals
To create a robust, user-friendly platform for effective compliance monitoring as part of our client’s efforts to modernize. Along with centralizing data in a single hub so as to monitor compliance metrics and document statuses, we needed to integrate with an existing internal system to ensure seamless data exchanges with the main business service provider. We aimed to deliver a platform that would increase record management efficiency by simplifying searching, viewing and management of employee records. An additional goal was to enhance communication, by enabling direct email and SMS notifications to employees for better compliance awareness.
