Project overview
We designed and delivered a greenfield SaaS platform for benchmarking and costing in manufacturing, with accurate carbon footprint calculation as a key capability. Our team provided end-to-end support through the ideation and development phases, handling everything from UI/UX design and cloud-native architecture to full-stack development and test automation.
Client background
A French industrial consulting and technology company that helps manufacturers optimize product lifecycles. By modeling best industrial practices through unique algorithms, they enable companies to make faster, data-driven decisions that enhance competitiveness and sustainability.

Goals
Previously, the benchmarking and cost calculation process relied on fragmented tools and expert-driven work that was difficult to scale. There was no single, cohesive environment for efficiently comparing cost and environmental scenarios. To resolve this, the project focused on transforming specialized manufacturing knowledge into a scalable, greenfield SaaS solution with a cloud-native foundation for high-precision benchmarking and costing. By integrating sophisticated carbon footprint modeling as a core platform feature, the initiative established a clear competitive advantage over existing tools. The collaboration also equipped subject matter experts with skills needed to take on product ownership responsibilities while delivering intuitive UI/UX designs coupled with robust, high-performance data models.
