Project overview
To conduct a comprehensive technology due diligence for a mid-sized travel technology company operating in Central Europe. Our client engaged us during the valuation negotiation phase of an acquisition to validate scalability and quantify technical risks prior to reaching a pricing agreement.
Client background
One of the largest private equity firms in Central and Eastern Europe, our client specializes in mid-market succession-driven buyout transactions and provision of expansion financing to high-growth enterprises across a range of sectors.

Goals
Before acquiring a company, an investment firm asked us to perform a tech audit to evaluate legacy exposure, security compliance, scalability, maintainability and dependency risks. Our team conducted a thorough assessment of architecture and backend components, frontend & mobile components, infrastructure & cloud setup, data & persistence layers, QA processes & SDLC maturity, organizational structure, workflows & processes, UX/UI quality & modernization gaps, as well as security & GDPR compliance. Additionally, we carried out code-level verification and conducted workshops to understand company architecture, functionality, UI and documentation.

Results
Enhancing risk mitigation
